Candy AI vs OurDream: Pricing, Credits & Features Compared
Both services sell subscriptions and use credits for some features. The useful comparison is what you can do for your budget, not which app prints the larger credit balance.

The differences we could verify
We visited Candy's subscription page and OurDream's Upgrade screen, switched OurDream between monthly and annual billing, and read its DreamCoin help guide. This comparison covers those observations. We have not tested conversation quality, voice naturalness or memory over weeks of use.
| Check | Candy AI | OurDream Premium |
|---|---|---|
| Monthly plan shown | €13.99 | US$19.99 |
| Annual amount | €47.88 | US$119.88 |
| Monthly credits advertised | 100 tokens | 1,000 DreamCoins |
| Paid text messaging | Advertised unlimited | Advertised unlimited; some model choices cost coins |
| Other tier observed | Not evaluated | Deluxe, with 5,000 monthly DreamCoins |
These currencies differ. Candy displayed euros in our browser while OurDream explicitly displayed USD. We are not treating these figures as a like-for-like price ranking. Compare your own checkout totals in the same currency before choosing.
What the plan screens actually show
Candy keeps the term choices together above its benefits list. See the separate pricing guide for billing-period arithmetic and the difference between subscription access and token purchases.
OurDream also displays first-month bonus coins with its annual offers. Keep a promotional bonus separate from the recurring allowance when building a budget. An initial bonus should not become your assumption for every later month.
1,000 DreamCoins is not “ten times more” than 100 tokens
Each service sets its own exchange between credits and actions. OurDream's official cost guide lists 5 DreamCoins for an in-chat image, 50 per minute of voice calls and 100 for a standard five-second video. It also identifies paid-model exceptions to ordinary subscriber chat.
Using that published voice rate, 1,000 DreamCoins would cover 20 minutes if the entire balance went to calls. Spending some of it elsewhere reduces the remaining minutes. This is an illustrative calculation from the documented rate, not a call-quality test or a guarantee that all modes have that rate.
We have not measured comparable Candy actions in a paid account, so we cannot name a winner on media cost. To make that comparison yourself, record the same action, its quoted credit cost and the cash price of replenishing those credits on each service.
Choose by the task you actually want
If you mostly want text conversation
Check the available characters, then run the same short, neutral conversation in each app. Ask for a concise answer, change a preference, and see whether the reply adapts. Later, start a fresh session and test continuity. Do not equate a large credit allowance with better conversation.
If you want voice or multimedia
OurDream publishes a useful per-action cost guide, and its paid screen separates Premium from Deluxe. Check the exact mode before paying. For Candy, check the token cost in the account rather than assuming that a feature listed under Premium has unlimited usage.
If you want detailed character settings
Preview the actual controls you can access. Make a list of the settings that matter to you, such as personality, interests and appearance. A product with more controls is not automatically better if you only want to select a character and start a conversation.
Neither our screenshots nor a vendor's “discreet” label establish a security guarantee. Read the data policy and account-management instructions separately. The Candy review and Secrets review explain why that distinction matters.
Our assessment: compare the billing commitment first, then the specific feature you will use. OurDream's extra tier and explicit coin rates deserve attention; Candy's shorter and longer term options deserve a full-cost check. We do not award a conversation or memory winner without testing those outcomes.
